About Me
Kay graduated from Valdosta State University with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders. She spent 9 years in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt University Medical Center working in a variety of acute-care settings, including trauma, oncology, burns, geriatrics, and neurology. Kay is a Feeding Therapist who specializes in feeding and dysphagia across the lifespan. During her time at Vanderbilt, Kay also taught at the Graduate level. Kay returned to Middle Georgia in 2005 and has devoted her efforts to helping children and adults with feeding, swallowing and voice disorders. An original owner of The Speech Path, Kay ventured out in 2016 to re-open her business into what is now Therapy Specialists of Georgia, and looks forward to continuing her mission to provide specialty services in the Middle Georgia area. Kay lives in Perry with her husband, Josh, and their sons, Hunter and Kaleb.
